Bio

Ford Chastain has been active in the Oklahoma music scene since his teenage years, weaving chords into songs, playing in local bands, and recording original music. At 16, he joined the psychedelic rock band Stardeath And White Dwarfs, touring across the U.S. and Canada alongside bands like Tame Impala and The Flaming Lips. His work on their album ‘Wastoid’ released in 2014 revealed his skill in producing unique sounds and laid the groundwork for his own style of songwriting.

After taking a break from music, Ford returned to his solo work in late 2023, unveiling bedroom pop gems layered with jangly guitars and dreamy vocal melodies. Drawing from the sound of 2010s indie rock and dreampop, his music beautifully captures a nostalgic vibe. Recorded solely in his home studio in Oklahoma City, Ford assumes the roles of producer, instrumentalist, and vocalist, creating a sound that is uniquely his own.
